3rd Street Park

“3rd Street Park” is a public recreation property located on the corner of 3rd Street and N 1st Avenue in Proctor, Minnesota. It is owned and managed by the City of Proctor.

In 2023, the City of Proctor applied for and was selected to help Essentia Health’s Community Health Department pilot a community development technical assistance program. “3rd Street Park” was selected for this assistance due to its location in a residential neighborhood and the possibility for neighborhood residents to regularly gather and connect in the space. Essentia Health staff is working with the City of Proctor Parks & Recreation Committee to evaluate use of the park, engage community members about the park’s future, and develop and start executing a plan for the space. The project began in March 2023 and concluded in January 2024.

Approved Vision
