Moose Lake School Campus Recreation Project

About

In 2024, Moose Lake Community School and Essentia Health’s Community Health Department partnered to assess and identify potential improvements to outdoor recreation facilities on the Moose Lake Community School campus. The project was developed in response to identified community health needs for physical activity and mental/social well-being in Essentia Health-Moose Lake’s service area. The project began in June 2024 and concluded in February 2025.

Community Input

In September 2024, Moose Lake Community School hosted a public survey to collect input about the future of outdoor recreation facilities on its school campus. You can view the results of the survey by clicking here.

Action Plan

Based on community input, the project advisory committee compiled a list of priorities for campus recreation improvements. Moose Lake Community School’s Facilities Committee reviewed these recommendations on February 11, 2025, and the school board approved them on February 24, 2025. This action plan is available for review by clicking here.
